Leading with emotional intelligence creates an environment in which information sharing, trust, healthy risk-taking, and learning all flourish…resulting in enhanced creativity, improved decision making and ultimately, the achievement of strong business results.

What may be even more important: The development of emotional intelligence liberates authenticity and creates “Whole” people who are aware of themselves, and others, and may model a way of being that enables breakthroughs in personal and organisational performance and sustaining healthy relationships.

Learning outcomes of the course

  • Understand the necessity of emotional competence for success in his/her day-to-day tasks and team work.
  • Recognising and understanding one’s emotions and the effect it has on other people.
  • Manage disruptive emotions and impulses in a trustworthy, conscientious, and innovative manner using the Thought Record System.
  • Create a greater sense of social awareness by demonstrating a deeper understanding of empathy in sensing and meeting the needs of people and customers effectively.
  • Apply specific techniques in influencing people when dealing with conflict and nurturing instrumental relationships.
